The Range floor has now been groud back to a smooth concrete finish. We can’t stress enough how hard all the volunteers work in their own free time. We are now ahead of schedule, so we are now improving on the work that has already carried out, before the big pre-paint clean-up begins! We will be asking for volunteers on a day in the near future. So if you can spare some time, please watch this space. Oh and we might have snacks…..!

I have been a member of the club for more years than I can remember. I have seen it change and I have seen members come and go. The joy of target shooting is such a stress relief for me.

Range Work has Started
The essential maintenance to the floor has begun. Here are some “before” pictures.
It does mean the range is closed until the work is complete, but we’re certain it will be worth the wait!
Whittlesey Rifle Club Remembers
We are all very thankful to those that have stood up for our Country’s freedom, and the Whittlesey Rifle Club makes no exception in our Remembrance.
We unite with our town in Remebrance and reflect on both past and current commitments, as our Fenland town becomes awash with beautiful and meaningful poppies.
We will Remember them.
New Air Cylinder Purchased
Thanks to continuing success of Tuesday nights and throughout the week, the club has now purchased a second air cylinder!
The cylinders will be rotated to prevent running out and reduce wear and tear.
There is a payment jar if you use the air, of which any profit is put straight back into the club.
Range Maintenance Closure
As discussed in the 2022 AGM, the range will be closed from Friday 04-Nov-2022 and will re-opening on Friday 18-Nov-2022.
During this two week period the range floor is receiving some heavy maintenance and painting.
Please do not enter the range during this period.
Any willing volunteers to help and assist will as always be appreciated.
2022 Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held on Thursday 6th October 2022 at 19:00. Anything you wish to be discussed should be forwarded to the club secretary by 22 September (two weeks beforehand).
Happy New Year 2022
